Myoldhouse Apartment - Lahad Datu

We stayed at this hotel for a total of three days, two before and one after our trip to Danum Valley. The location is quiet and safe, yet conveniently close to the airport, shopping/restaurants, and the city center. The owner and his family provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The small pool and beautiful garden were a lovely addition, and the huge terrace allowed us to enjoy the sounds of birds and the view of squirrels playing in the gardens. The staff, especially Tio, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel also offers 24-hour access to water, tea, and coffee, which was a nice touch. it was a peaceful and relaxing stay, and we wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an amazing stay at this charming hotel. The location was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful gardens and offering a tranquil atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the views. The staff was incredibly helpful, even offering us a ride to the airport when our driver was late. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of local delicacies to try. We loved having access to 24-hour water, tea, and coffee. It truly was a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The hotel did not have a restaurant, but the owners suggested ordering food via grab and eating it in the common area.

The staff were great, it was located in a lovely area close to Danum valley and airport. This place is worth believing the reviews, everything was wonderful, and I enjoyed my time here.

We had a wonderful stay at Myoldhouse! The staff was amazing and treated us like family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved the refreshing dip pool. The hotel's beautiful garden provided a peaceful oasis to relax in. The included breakfast was delicious, and the staff even gave us tasty treats to sample. All the tour companies knew the hotel well and it was convenient for them to meet us here. We would definitely stay at Myoldhouse again with a smile on our faces.

Myoldhouse is a fantastic place to stay. the owner, Mr Teo, is incredibly friendly and helpful. He provided us with plenty of information and even helped us arrange affordable transportation. the rooms are spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking a peaceful garden with a nice pool. It's a great value for money. the staff is approachable and accommodating, allowing us to cook our own dinner in their clean kitchen. Highly recommended!
